Preceding his connection with Transformative Capital, Mark Chasan served as the Founder and CEO of Emusic, the first company in history to sell digital music files online. Chasan successfully led the company's operations, marketing, business development, product development, and sales. After going public with a merger with Goodnoise, Mark Chasan's company became the leader in its space. At its height, Emusic had a market cap of 500 million dollars. Alongside Emusic, Chasan has been at the forefront of launching and selling two additional companies, one in finance and another in digital media. His extensive expertise makes him a sought-after speaker and advisor in numerous fields, such as finance, digital media, legal, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structure, and cleantech.

Apart from his professional contributions, Mark Chasan is a sincere humanitarian, demonstrating his commitment to the community as a generous supporter and member of Green for All, the Social Venture Network, Investors' Circle, NRDC, Green Technology Institute, and the Sierra Club. Education
Mark Chasan earned his Juris Doctor from Fullerton, California's Western State University in 1984, and he remains a member of the State Bar of California. Chasan currently resides in Mill Valley, California.
